To me this song is about how the ones in power in this country (and in others) who hold all the cards are in such denial. They feel as though terrorism isn't real or they don't take it seriously. They think they know it all even after all the violence that's all around them they deny there's a real threat & go about as if they're doing enough. This song is a reminder & a plea that we everyday people (including children) know the truth they are too ignorant to face.
