I’ve been lost in self-denial,
Suffered some setbacks and trials,
This is not the life I planned to lead.
I can close my mind for hours,
Superman has lost his powers,
Did you never see the hero bleed?
There’s times I really got things right,
And I sure put up a fight,
Solved some issues that had been posed.
