Hey, I never get it all right, get it all right on
Be my medal and I will wear you all night
Wear you all night long
Gee, a minute, I've been waiting long time for you
You know
You'll be my baby, 'cause I can wait a long time

I, I'm the man that will find you
Hold me back, 'til the end of day
I, I'm the man that will find you
Hold me back until another day
I, I'm the man that will find you

Hey, I never get it all right on
You'll be my baby 'cause I've been waiting long time for you
You know
Gee, I never, you're never gonna hide those legs, or hair
Be my baby 'cause I can wait a long time

I, I'm the man that will find you
Hold me back 'til the end of day
I, I'm the man that will find you
Hold me back 'til the end of day
I, I'm the man that will find you
Hold me back 'til the end of day
I, I'm the man that will find you

Listen to your heart
When it feels right from the start
You're acting kind of strange
Yours is for the past
Listen to your head
When you're drowning every day

I, I'm the man that will find you
I, I'm the man that will find you
I, I'm the man that will find you
I, I'm the man that will find you
(I will love you) I, I'm the man that will find you
(I will love you, baby)
(I will love you, baby) I, I'm the man that will find you
(oh, oh, oh) I, I'm the man that will find you
I, I'm the man that will find you (baby)

I'll never spend a moment with you single

He certainly did earn that reputation.

The Spy

Like a lot of the other comments are saying, I think this mainly about voyeurism. If the song was about his girlfriend, then why would he use the word spy. If you are a spy it means you shouldn't be caught, that is kind of the whole point, and if you are a voyeur, the whole point of the pleasure you get from it, is the fact that the other people don't know you are watching them. See a bit of a connection there?

Techno Ted
Audioslave
Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.
