How Loud Your Heart Gets Lyrics
Oh, our igloo house is bigger now
We made each brick of ice like stone
It's a fort that can't be broken
A place no one will ever find us
We were children, now we've grown
We were children, now we've grown
We were children, now we've grown
We were children, now we've grown
Nobody knows how loud your heart gets
'Cause we're a million miles away but I still hear you
And I'm going, going, going, going to get you
Tell you all my memories and you will tell me yours
The colors of my favorite trees before the winter's war
The reasons you and me should talk about the great unknown
Without the distance in between and all the obstacles we've known
The things we know we just don't know
The things we know we don't know
The things we know we just don't know
The things we know we don't know
Nobody knows how loud your heart gets
'Cause we're a million miles away but I still hear you
And I'm going, going, going, going to get you
Yeah I'm going, going, going, going to get you
Nobody knows how loud your heart gets
'Cause we're a million miles away but I still hear you
And I'm going, going, going, going to get you
Yeah I'm going, going, going, going to get you
Like a robber in the night, I'm going to get you
Nobody knows even with how loud his heart gets
Yeah I'm going, going, going, going to get you
Yeah I'm going, going, going, going to get you
We made each brick of ice like stone
It's a fort that can't be broken
A place no one will ever find us
We were children, now we've grown
We were children, now we've grown
We were children, now we've grown
'Cause we're a million miles away but I still hear you
And I'm going, going, going, going to get you
The colors of my favorite trees before the winter's war
The reasons you and me should talk about the great unknown
Without the distance in between and all the obstacles we've known
The things we know we don't know
The things we know we just don't know
The things we know we don't know
'Cause we're a million miles away but I still hear you
And I'm going, going, going, going to get you
Yeah I'm going, going, going, going to get you
'Cause we're a million miles away but I still hear you
And I'm going, going, going, going to get you
Yeah I'm going, going, going, going to get you
Like a robber in the night, I'm going to get you
Nobody knows even with how loud his heart gets
Yeah I'm going, going, going, going to get you
Yeah I'm going, going, going, going to get you

Two people were very close as children but they've grown apart. They've both become isolated and cold, since they built a very sturdy ice structure, likely to protect themselves from hurt. But they share a secret, the singer knows that this other person can love her very well, as his/her heart gets so loud she can hear it from millions of miles away. Therefore she is coming to get that person by any means necessary!
A couple who love each other very much, far away from each other. Grew up together as kids (Perhaps Innuit? - my connection with Igloo and also Holly Laessig is perhaps of Danish descent???)
Probably both had many other loves and relationships, loose and serious but mutally feel that they are the ones for each other because besides being physivally strongly attracted to each other, they both share a kind of spiritual connection. "The reasons why you and me should talk about the great unknown." "The things we know we don't know." And yet beneath all the everyday stuff, the Great unknown is far more important to some people.
The more you study and think about things like the purpose of life and what happens after, unless you latch on to some mental belief system and close the doors to all other beliefs, "the things we know we don't know."
They've tried to part for good but they pine for each other so badly that as she knows he feels the same, she is going to go and get him.
@Kuriouskat Most of this is correct but one tiny correction. SHE has already done everything she can, it’s HIS turn.
