Amazing song, but I think it's about how people change. If they know that the world is ending, their morals will change. They won't stay the same. People always change, especially the ones I know. "If there was no tomorrow, if there was just today, Would you make different choices, would you stay the same?" Singnifies how people change when circumstances do. "If the world stops spinning tomorrow, I'd never shed a tear! I'd rather be anywhere, anywhere, Anywhere but here!" He wouldn't care if the world ended, I wouldn't either. But stated simply, he wouldn't mind the end of the world.
