Verse

Slowly losing my grip/

Reality's not a good friend to me

As I float right through my trip/

The truth starts rushing back to me

I want you baby, I need you

You complete a part of me

I feel you baby, I believe you

You know the darkest parts of me

Hook

I know you know it too, I know you feel it too/

We are so damn in tune/

Atmosphere in this room, Smell of smoke and perfume/

How could I have lost you?/

Baby you know what I like, You know what I'm like/

Got that rush through my spine/

Oh yes I'm feeling it now, Yes I'm missing it now/

I feel the rush is like wow/

Rush is like wow x 2

Verse

Whenever I see you my heart skips/

A million beats and takes a dip/

I know exactly what I miss, The butterflies I get when you kiss my lips/

I'll flaunt you baby, I'll lead you

Make me feel complete again

I'll treat you baby, be with you

Lose ourselves in the rain again

Hook

I know you know it too, I know you feel it too/

We are so damn in tune/

Atmosphere in this room, Smell of smoke and perfume/

How could I have lost you?/

Baby you know what I like, You know what I'm like/

Got that rush through my spine/

Oh yes I'm feeling it now, Yes I'm missing it now/

I feel the rush is like wow/

Rush is like wow x 2

Bridge

Baby you know what I'm like, You know what I like/

Got that rush through my spine/

Oh yes I'm feeling it now, Yes I'm missing it now/

I feel the rush is like wow/

Rush is like wow, wow

Rush is like wow

Feel the rush is like wow/

Rush is like wow, wow

Rush is like wow

Feel the rush is like wow/

Hook

I know you know it too, I know you feel it too/

We are so damn in tune/

Atmosphere in this room, Smell of smoke and perfume/

How could I have lost you/

Baby you know what I like, You know what I'm like/

Got that rush through my spine/

Oh yes I'm feeling it now, Yes I'm missing it now/

I feel the rush is like wow/

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
