I'm God Lyrics
How did you know?
It's what I've always wanted
Could never have too many of these
Will you quit kicking me under the table?
I'm trying, will somebody make her
shut up about this, can we settle down please?
Its what
happens
when
take
deep
breaths
It's what I've always wanted
Could never have too many of these
Will you quit kicking me under the table?
I'm trying, will somebody make her
shut up about this, can we settle down please?
happens
when
take
deep
breaths

For me, the first verse is a short reminder of the simplicities of life (the little girl arguing with her little brother saying "quit kicking me under the table," when she's trying to have a moment on her birthday when she opens her gift),
and the second verse is reminder of our mortality and a reminder that we fight over trivial things (kicking under the table). Every time we take deep breathes we are reminded of our bodies, our minds, our souls, and that we are totally fucking alive right now and should live every single day fruitfully.

"This world... I've been- - Bite tongue. Deep Breaths."
An obligated holiday in which gifts are exchanged. They receive unthoughtful gifts (you could never have too many of these...) Like a scented candle or socks. A family member is being antagonistic, and they respond by telling them to stop (stop kicking). They then get scolded by another family member to 'just calm down', or some other unhelpful statement that places the responsibility of the problem on them (I'm trying). They ask another family member to please intervene and help them (will somebody make her...?)
No one does anything thoughtful or caring or helpful towards them, just reiterate 'settle down' to them.
'it's what I think' as a variation on the past tense 'thats what I thought' - a phrase we use to express when our disappointing expectations were met. Bringing the sentiment into the present - the witnessing of mistreatment in the current moment.
Their only response is to 'bite tounge. Dep breaths.' So they say what
