A family member is being antagonistic, and they respond by telling them to stop (stop kicking). They then get scolded by another family member to 'just calm down', or some other unhelpful statement that places the responsibility of the problem on them (I'm trying). They ask another family member to please intervene and help them (will somebody make her...?)
No one does anything thoughtful or caring or helpful towards them, just reiterate 'settle down' to them.
