Tomorrow's Money Lyrics
Fell in love with a vampire
You want to get it for free
Then say hello to the brush fire, baby
You want to take it from me
I'm gonna take it from you
Say hello to the good times
We’re burning up in the sun
You're sitting back on an empire
While the world lays back
Puts a kid behind that gun
If we crash this time
They got machines to keep us alive
When the mixtape lies
Choke down the words with no meaning
I stopped bleeding three years ago
While you keep screaming for revolution
Me and my surgeons and my street walking friends
We got no heroes 'cause our heroes are dead
Yeah
Say hello to the program
They're gonna give it for free
Hook up the veins to the antibodies
And cut it with the disease
I'm gonna give it to you
Put on your smile for the good times
You're loaded up with the fame
You're dressing up like a virus
But the words get lost when we all look the same
If we crash this time
They got machines to keep us alive
When the mixtape lies
Choke down the words with no meaning
I stopped bleeding three years ago
While you keep screaming for revolution
Me and my surgeons and my street walking friends
We got no heroes 'cause our heroes are dead
Yeah
You fell in love with a vampire
A torch song for the empire
Say hello to the brush fire
The microphones got a tap wire
You fell in love with a vampire
A torch song for the empire
Say hello to the brush fire
The microphones got a tap wire
Woah, yeah
If we crash this time
They got machines to keep us alive
While the army wives
Choke down a war with no meaning
I stopped bleeding three years ago
While you keep screaming for revolution
Because rebellion's not a t-shirt you sell
You keep your money and I'll see you in hell
You want to get it for free
Then say hello to the brush fire, baby
You want to take it from me
I'm gonna take it from you
Say hello to the good times
We’re burning up in the sun

This song is about the previous part of danger days and what they had done with the new disc (now known as conventional weapons).
"I stopped believing three years ago While you keep screaming for revolution" , The Black Parade was realized on 2006 and the "new" disc, with this songs, had been realized on 2009.
I'd actually tend to disagree. I really think these lyrics are simply indicative of the underlying themes of what is revealing itself to be Conventional Weapons. Boy Division and Tomorrow's Money have both been violent bouts of punk pseudo-metal, featuring nameless enemies and supernatural figures.

I think the three years ago could be perhaps referential to the US presidential cycle, if it were to be grounded in real life at all - but what I really think is that it is simply a call out to the "empire" owned by the "vampire" featured in this song.

I thought it was "I stopped bleeding three years ago"?
But it is bleeding???
But it is bleeding???
This song is about the corruption in the media and the government. They (the powers that be) blacklist and/or ruin the non conforming elements leaving room for only those who say whatever the elite want them to. MCR never "sold their soul" so they became a target. As opposed to compromising their sound or risk their own safety, they decided to call it quits.
