Put your lips close to mine
As long as they don't touch
Out of focus, eye to eye
'Til the gravity's too much
And I'll do anything you say
If you say it with your hands
And I'd be smart to walk away
But you're quicksand

This slope is treacherous
This path is reckless
This slope is treacherous
And I, I, I like it

I can't decide if it's a choice
Getting swept away
I hear the sound of my own voice
Asking you to stay
And all we are is skin and bone
Trained to get along
Forever going with the flow
But you're friction

This slope is treacherous
This path is reckless
This slope is treacherous
I, I, I like it

Two headlights shine through the sleepless night
And I will get you, and get you alone
Your name has echoed through my mind
And I just think you should, think you should know
That nothing safe is worth the drive
And I would follow you, follow you home
I'll follow you, follow you home

This hope is treacherous
This daydream is dangerous
This hope is treacherous
I, I, I
I, I, I
I, I, I

Two headlights shine through the sleepless night
And I will get you, and get you alone
Your name has echoed through my mind
And I just think you should, think you should know
That nothing safe is worth the drive
And I will follow you, follow you home
I'll follow you, follow you home
I'll follow you, follow you home
I'll follow you, follow you home

This slope is treacherous
I, I, I like it

    My Interpretation

Overall, i believe this song is about taylor falling for someone she shouldn't. It's someone shes close with, that she doesnt want to lose, but she feels at some point gravity and fate will bring them together. For now, she lives in a daydream that she knows she shouldnt be living in, and overall the desire for this guy she knows she shouldnt have is "treacherous".

"Put your lips close to mine, as long as they dont touch," is taylor's way of saying that she's falling for a guy she knows she shouldnt fall for. she wants him to come close to her, without their lips touching she cant say that she did anything wrong. "Out of focus eye to eye, til the gravity's too much" is talking about the struggle to avoid falling for this person even know eventually gravity, or "fate" will bring them together. "i'd be smart to walk away, but you're quick sand," is saying that as good of an idea as it would be to walk away from him and try not to fall in love, she can't help it. "i cant decide if its a choice, getting swept away," is taylor expressing that even though she's saying she doesnt want to fall for him, something deep inside her wants to and wants the chase of it all. "i hear the sound of my own voice, asking you to stay" - she hears herself on the inside screaming dont go, but she knows she cant say it out loud because she shouldnt be feeling this way. "two headlights shine through the sleepless night, and i will get you alone" being in love with this guy keeps her up all night, driving home from his house or being with him just makes her want him more, and she knows she's going to be up all night thinking about it. she wants to get him alone so that maybe without the opinion of everyone else around them, she can show her true feelings for him. "nothing safe is worth the drive" - a relationship that can be so beautiful and "safe" shouldnt be ruined and torn apart by all the critics in their lives. that initial step to confessing her feelings for him isnt worth losing him in her life. "Ill follow you home" sounds to me like an act of love for their safety and knowing that they're safe and happy. "This hope is treacherous" - she knows that the hope of him loving her too is a bad thought and she shouldnt be feeling this way. "This day dream is dangerous, this hope is treacherous, this path is reckless" taylor thinks about this guy all the time, but knows she shouldnt because if anyone else knew about this daydream, it would be dangerous. keeping it to herself and not sharing her feelings with anyone about this guy is ripping her apart.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
