I wait for weeks just for this day
and dance with joy across the asphalt
as if there were a rhythm playing
as if there were a song
pulling me ever further through the streets
I come over to yours, to pick you up, just as we planned
Same time and same place.
Just like last time.
Through the crowds and mass of people
we head along the well trodden path.
Along the streets, to the banks of the Rhein
over the bridges then on to where the music is
where everything is loud and where everyone is ready to get down
On days like this, one wishes that they're infinite.
On days like this, we have all the time in the world.
I'm wishing for infinity.
The present is eternal, at least for today
We're not going to stay still all night long.

don't be scared, i'll watch over you
We allow ourselves to drift, immerse ourselves, and swim with the current,
move in circles, we don't come down to earth again, we're weightless.
