Ay, you my lil baby yeah you drippin' too hard
Saw you across the room, yeah I saw you from afar
Even though we far apart, I never felt so close
To anybody like this before, ay
You my day one, you my homie
Yeah, you told me you missing the old me
Said I changed up, said I ain’t shit
You seeing shit wrong, girl you need Lasik
I had to focus on myself, and grind on my own
I’m tryna build my empire, so you can live in Rome
So I can buy you anything, I’m tryna give your ass a ring
Just tell me what you want I promise it ain’t a thing
Every time I think about you it bring tears to my eyes
Staying up the late nights just waiting for your reply
I kept trying, I kept trying, to show you I’m the one
But you played me real dirty had me looking real dumb
Maybe one day (Maybe one day, one day) maybe one day
You won’t be afraid of what I say (What I say now)
Baby it’s okay (Baby it’s okay, okay) girl it’s okay
But there ain’t no way (Ain’t no way) I’ma let you walk away (Don’t walk away, ay)
Let me get you on the gram, I’ma like a couple pictures
Tryna put you round the fam ‘cause I might be fucking with ya
Normally, I’m the type to tell the people mind they business
But tonight you looking right so I want the world to witness us
Picture us, make them look ridiculous
Make ‘em wanna switch it up, tell bitches don't you hit me up
I got me a dime piece, she helping me find peace
Anytime I’m feeling down, she pick me up and remind me
Say cool it boo, you the truth, look at what they do to you
You just doing you and you ain’t got no one to prove it to
People hear the rumors then they ‘gon and just assume they true
Cut ‘em off they tumors you don’t wanna let ‘em sicken you
People gonna try and put you down that’s how the wicked do
Look ‘em in the face and tell them now that they ain’t getting you
Don’t know what I did to deserve it, but I was gifted you
Nowadays everything perfect ‘cause I can sit with you
Maybe one day (Maybe one day, one day) maybe one day
You won’t be afraid of what I say (What I say now)
Baby it’s okay (Baby it’s okay, okay) girl it’s okay
But there ain’t no way (Ain’t no way) I’ma let you walk away (Don’t walk away, ay)
Maybe one day, maybe one day
You won’t be afraid of what I say
Baby it’s okay (Baby it’s okay, okay) girl it’s okay
But there ain’t no way (Ain’t no way) I’ma let you walk away (Don’t walk away, ay)

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

When We Were Young
Blink-182
This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
