Never gonna give you up

If you're asking me, to tell you that
I don't care about ya, I could be living without ya
I'd have to go and let you down
'Coz girl you know that that just ain't true

If you like it, if you want it
Stay a little longer girl it makes me wanna
If you need it, let me know that you feel it
'Coz tonight is gonna be all about you

'Coz I'm never gonna give you up
Letting you down is something I can never do, no
'Coz I'm never gonna give you up
Letting you know that it's all about me and you, now

I guess I'm asking you to stay a while
You need to understand that, I won't take you for granted
I cherish she and every time I look at you I'm electrified

'Coz I like it, the way that you move it
'Coz your love is just a reeling, I can't fight this feeling
Baby don't stop it, just do what you're doing
'Coz there's nothing I won't do tonight

'Coz I'm never gonna give you up
Letting you down is something I can never do, no
'Coz I'm never gonna give you up
Letting you know that it's all about me and you, now

Ain't never gonna give you up, ain't never gonna give you up
Ain't never gonna give you up, ain't letting you down
Ain't never gonna give you up, ain't never gonna give you up
Ain't never gonna give you up, ain't letting you down

Ain't no doubt about it, gonna give you all that I got
Ain't gonna be able stop it, you know what I'm talking about

'Coz I'm never gonna give you up
Letting you down is something I can never do, no
'Coz I'm never gonna give you up
Letting you know that it's all about me and you, now

'Coz I'm never gonna give you up
'Coz I'm never gonna give you up
Letting you know that it's all about me and you, now

Ain't never gonna give you up, ain't never gonna give you up
Ain't never gonna give you up, ain't letting you down
Ain't never gonna give you up, ain't never gonna give you up
Ain't never gonna give you up

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
