Someone's in the Wolf Lyrics

Once you're lost in taillight's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

Homme is referring to a lost love, that succumbed to drug use probably or something that was swaying her so strongly (stronger than he) and in the wrong direction. Maybe another man who seemed to care but ultimately was simply using her, drugging her, exploiting her naivety, fucking her. Eventually she isn’t in control (addicted) and this ‘way’ finds her whether she wants it to or not. So glad you could stay forever is straight sarcasm...bitter that she used to say shit like forever referring to him, only to not be and fast. He’s warning her of the slippery slope she’s choose and the man that put her there. Boom.
