One more step out of line
Over my head and out of time
I wish that I could blame it all on you
Everything that I had
Watched it slip right through my hands
And not a thing that I could do
There's a weight on my shoulders
It holds me down
How I hate growing older
Let's turn around

I push it all to the back of my mind
So it kills me for the rest of my life
I don't want let this go
I'm too scared to let this go
I was told it gets better in time
So far luck hasn't been on my side
I don't want to let this go
I'm too scared to let this go

Remember when
Being Kids
Living life reckless
Throw caution to the wind
Moving on
Cutting ties
Burning bridges with my former life
How could I make it up to you
There's a weight on my shoulders
It holds me down
How I hate growing older
Let's turn around

I push it all to the back of my mind
So it kills me for the rest of my life
I don't want let this go
I'm too scared to let this go
I was told it gets better in time
So far luck hasn't been on my side
I don't want to let this go
I'm too scared to let this go

The signs that lead the way
They're all falling down
The sings that lead the way
They're all falling down
The signs that lead the way
They're all falling down
The signs that lead the way
They're all falling down

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
