Lonely Star

the lyrics are very hard to understand but when you listen to to the song a couple times you can start to put together what he's talking about.

In the intro of the song there's a girl and she's talking to him. She says "Promise me you won't regret me like the tattoos on my skin" she's asking him to promise her that he won't regret her like she tattoos on her skin then she says "Promise me you’ll all love me one day You’ll still remember me" she's asking him to promise her that maybe one day he will love and remember her, she also hopes that when he has sex with other girls he will see her face so she seems to be in love with him.

Then when the song starts. Abel sings "It seems like pain and regret are your best friends" so you can see her that this girl obviously has some type of mental health issue, maybe depression and they're her best friends. he then says "baby I could be your best friend" so he's trying to help this girl but it's hard since she's broken and messed up.

"Baby, you can have the cars, the clothes, the jewels, the sex, the house Baby, you could be a star, oh yeah" he's saying that she could have all these things that he seems to have. he is obviously in some type of way in love with her. She could be a star!

"You're blaming all your sins on your best friends And nothing's ever ever your fault Nothing's your fault, baby, no" he's saying that she is blaming her all her problems and actions on her mental health issues because she can't help it since she's so messed up everything she does is out of her hand and he doesn't blame her because nothing is her fault.

then at the end the girl appears again and she says "Give them any other day but Thursday You belong to me every Thursday" so they have a thing for Thursday. She knows there are other girls that he's with so she's saying that he can give them any other day except from Thursday because on Thursday he is hers.
