I was told that this was about Andy and Scout's breakup when she had cheated on him. Now I don't know the full story of their breakup just what other people have said, but from what everyone has been saying that's what this song was about.
It's supposed to be "Than put you on a throne" not "Than watch you outgrow". Otherwise I think they're correct. :)
