We hit the hills and we hit them hard
With iron wills and with Mastercards
We moved the mountains into our homes
We kept in touch with our mobile phones

L.A. tonight we stay up late
And stumble towards the day
It's warm in Silverlake!
Now when we crush up on the dawn
You must confess the things you want
Kissed by the brightness of the day
You know that they evaporate

We're poppin' quarters towards a place to park
The walking wounded wrap their face in gauze
These kids will kill you just because they can
The teeth are bleached and their tits are tanned

L.A. tonight we stay up late
And piss our cares away
It's warm in Silverlake!
Now when we crush up on the dawn
You must confess the things you want
Kissed by the brightness of the day
You know that they evaporate

Tonight we're gonna stay up late
Stumble forward towards the day
You try to beat the haze away
L.A.!

As far as knowing who we are
We're like a light cast of a star
A million million miles far
From the places where you start
There's nothing good here anymore
You see the ashes in the eyes
The only tear that you will find
That's not impossible to find

Definitely strikes me as a song about Los Angeles being a fairly shallow place. These lines all support that:

There's nothing pure here anymore by the brightness of the day / you know that they'll evaporate ... and of course the lines about fake tits, bleached teeth, and devaluing human life (those kids'll kill ya cuz they can)

    Pretty cool song.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
