On my waist, through my hair.
Think about it when you touch me there
Close my eyes, here you are all alone dancing in the dark.

Tell me baby if it's wrong
To let my hands do what they want?
Late at night I pretend we are
Dance dance dancing in the dark

Dancing in the dark
Oh la la oh la la oh la la
Dancing in the dark

When you work on me,
Open my body up and do some surgery,
Now that you got me up I wanna taste it taste it
And see those pocket aces.
I wanna see who you are.

I got a sex drive to push the start
I got a sex drive to push the start
I got a sex drive to push the start

On my waist, through my hair.
Think about it when you touch me there.
Close my eyes, here you are
Dance dance dancing in the dark!

Oh la la oh la la oh la la
Dancing in the dark
Oh la la oh la la oh la la
Dancing in the dark

I love to flirt to see.
I'm only talking to you if you wanna surf my seas.
Now that you got me boy
You know you better spice it flavor it get it right; savor it

Wanna see who you are,
Got a sex drive to push the start
I got a sex drive to push the start
I got a sex drive to push the start

On my waist, through my hair.
Think about it when you touch me there.
Close my eyes, here you are (here you are)
All alone dancing in the dark.

Tell me baby if its wrong?
To let my hands do what they want.
Late at night I pretend we are

Dance dance dancing in the dark
(oh la la)

Tell me baby if its wrong
Dancing in the dark
To let my hands do what they want.
Dancing in the dark! (it's the Cataracs)
Oh la la oh la la oh la la
Dancing in the dark
Oh la la oh la la oh la la
Dancing in the dark

    I really like the way it sounds but the lyrics do seem really dirty.. .__.;

maybe she's telling a guy that she's pleasured herself thinking of him.

a few past girlfriends have told me that, and it's an immense turn on.

btw- does anyone know where the sax sample is from ?

Just realized that this title's lyrics are already posted under "In The Dark". My apologies for causing a second entry (though, as this is a title I've seen it as quite a bit myself, maybe it'll actually run some traffic, hahah..)

Two comments? Man, this is really pathetic. No, not the song. All you listeners. All I'll say is that the song is about dancin'. Yeah, dancin'. Just regular everyday dancin'. Nope, nothing else meant by those strange lines about "push the start,' 'touch me there,' 'to let my hands do what they want," and 'sex drive." Nope, she's not alone and thinking of him, while she "dances" alone. Nope. Definitely not. GREAT song. Sad to see that it never got the attention and accolates it should have received. I guess it wasn't tame enough for the radio so it didn't get enough air play.

Y four comments???? Dang!!! This song is PERFECT. It has the energy (the sexual energy) to make it one of the best dance songs playing at this time. Dancing should simply be vertical sex on a club floor and this song has the rhythm; beat; lyrics; instrumentals; and vocals to make it a MUST DANCE TO song ! Gawd, just the sax alone is the biggest turn on.... can't wait to put the song's energy to good use at a club!

STILL no additional comments on this track? Geesh! What is WRONG with you people! I can't sit still whenever I hear this song. The saxaphone is amazing....the beat electrifying! If this dance song doesn't make you come out of your shoes (or clothes:) someone forgot to tell you you are officially DEAD :)

Come now. Have you losers even heard this song? Six friggin' comments?!?!? Naw, that has to be wrong. This catchy, fast, sexy tune played numerous times while I was on a long drive recently. I had a BALL to it....dancing in my car's seat; driving with both hands off the wheel so I could include my hands in the dance; smiling-singing-and pointing at guys in their vehicles as I drove (and danced by). The sax is soooooo good in the song! Got some great looks (kinda like...hey look at that crazy broad), and I did get a warm smile and wave from a cool trucker. He da man!!! If this song does NOT make every part of your body move (and move well), than you have a serious problem. This song is on my "Have Sex To" list...

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
