This track continues the story of the previous album, following the story of Mr. Cadallac Blood. It's also the second song out of two on the album, the first being '7 Shots'. It tackles his inner turmoil, his struggle with his past. Left without an answer to who shot him, he decides to enter his car and drive away, leaving his past in the rearview mirror.
The title of the mirror and the ripper represent symbolic figures that reflect his inner darkness and self-destructive tendencies. The mirror represents confronting his past, while the ripper embodies the destructive acts that blacken his soul when he's willing to do anything to uncover his past. By driving away, he decides to live life anew, giving up his search and his dark, twisted tendencies.
