A bird flew from it's nest today
Baby took its first steps today
It's gone it's passed that's yesterday
The rest can wait
The rest can wait
That bullshit
Drama and gossip
So cool it
I got things to conquer
Gold fools it
Loving the music the moment
It's possibilities that fuel it
We all got a chart
All got a graph
All can go get it so get off your ass
Envy is dangerous
Practicing patience and
Thank me for my patronage
Well before crash
Second opinion for what
I'm not too bargain so don't under cut
I do not know when enough is enough
And enough is enough when I'm laying in dust
Poof
Fly fly fly away
Fly away
I said fly fly fly away
Fly away
I said
Fly fly fly away
Fly away
I said fly fly fly away
Fly away
I need a temple rub
You're playing Temple Run
Genes that I'll pass down
I'm in the central hub
Who's looking outside
I need some gentle love
Give some before you cap cap size
Living large I want that that size
Over average I'ma bat that right
Tryna focus on the focal point sometimes it is blurry
Not in a rush but sometimes I hurry
Causally making these hits
So why I'm I feeling so scurried
Scattered
Live it cause it doesn't matter
Been raining for 2 days
Got meetings on Tuesdays
Not watching the news aye
Life is like samples I'm tasting the batter
Now that is a doosie
Ima fly fly to the sky-y-y
And I'ma fly-y to the sky-y-y
And I'ma fly-y to the sky-y-y
And I'ma fly-y to the sky-y-y
To the
To the
Ima bird
Ima plane
In control
I'm insane
I'm in tact
I'm unreigned
In the sun
In the rain
Ima bird
Ima plane
In control
I'm insane
I'm in tact
I'm unreigned
In the sun
In the rain
You could fly to reach the heights
If ya like it's your right
Or get left behind now
Enie meanie pick and choose could take a different route
But I don't wanna find out
Real prevails - rest is stale slow and sure fizzling they're all dying out
Barriers pop up don't got my thumb up crazy if you think I need a ride now
Look at this span
Feathers I traded for hands
Colorful awe with this dance
Peacock
Me stop?
Dazed dazed from the drum I'm in love I'm in trance
All from the mountain it's miles I see
Bringing it back to the mouths that I'll feed
Climbing up out of the belly of beast
Relentless as fuck so they hand me the feast
Know it's written you'll piss 'em off
Actin if they're invisible
Minding the gap while I act
Cause what want isn't so physical
I just landed now I gotta say
I just landed but I couldn't stay
Interjection hmm by the way
Spread the wings I'll fly away
Fly fly fly away
Fly away
I said fly fly fly away
Fly away
I said
Fly fly fly away
Fly away
I said fly fly fly away
Fly away
Ima fly fly to the sky-y-y
And I'ma fly-y to the sky-y-y
And I'ma fly-y to the sky-y-y
And I'ma fly-y to the sky-y-y
In the rain
In the rain
In the in the

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
