To the Grave Lyrics
is it any wonder, cue the thunder
it's raining on me
this is getting frightening, there's the lightning
striking the trees
fire in the sky
please before they take me, come and shake me
out of this dream
find myself alone and chilled to the bones
inside of me
fire in the sky
and our hearts beat on like a drum
death will inevitably come
we are all helpless to the song
marching us all to our graves
marching us all to the grave
I knew it was coming, now it's running
faster than me
I cannot avoid this, there is one kiss
waiting on me
fire in the sky
and our hearts beat on like a drum
death will inevitably come
we are all helpless to the song
marching us all to our graves
marching us all to the grave
and our hearts beat on like a drum
death will inevitably come
we are all helpless to the song
marching us all to our graves
it is all just a mystery
who knows what will become of me
death will come inevitably
marching us all to our graves
marching us all to the grave
marching us all to our graves
some people call it tragic, but it's magic
waiting on me
it's raining on me
this is getting frightening, there's the lightning
striking the trees
fire in the sky
out of this dream
find myself alone and chilled to the bones
inside of me
fire in the sky
death will inevitably come
we are all helpless to the song
marching us all to our graves
marching us all to the grave
faster than me
I cannot avoid this, there is one kiss
waiting on me
fire in the sky
death will inevitably come
we are all helpless to the song
marching us all to our graves
marching us all to the grave
death will inevitably come
we are all helpless to the song
marching us all to our graves
who knows what will become of me
death will come inevitably
marching us all to our graves
marching us all to the grave
marching us all to our graves
waiting on me

I'm a huge Pierces fan :)...
I think the meaning is pretty obvious. The thunder is basically the narrator realizing that "Death will inevitably come" and soon she will be marched on by force to her grave. She basically tries to "run away" from the fact (by trying to forget it, maybe), but after a lot of thinking, she realizes that "we are all helpless to the song" and this is her final kiss, until she realizes that it's not tragic because it happens to everybody :)
I think death is magic myself. I wonder what's on the otherside if there even IS an otherside. There needs to be more people who interpret these awesome songs!
@simonteodulf Right on. Absolutely love the pierces and this song. The last lines of this song are amazing, which is expected because everything they write is magical. xx
