I thing the meaning is pretty obvious on the surface, a girl who is in love with a person who is bad for her. She stays because she is so in love and is trying to believe, with everything she has, left that they will change - a really sad song but I know a lot of people are like this poor girl :(
This song reminds me of Beauty and the Beast - or at least how the Beast would feel about Beauty staying with him and falling in love with him.
This song perfectly fits with what I'm feeling right now. It's been a year that I've been diagnosed with BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) and MDD (Major Depressive Disorder). I've been struggling with this condition most of my life even before I went with a psychiatrist. Most of my relationships have been problematic but since I was diagnosed I couldn't even accept me (so I couldn't ask someone else to love me). Now I have a girlfriend that wants to be at my side in spite of all those things I can't control. Most of the time I don't get the reasons why she wants to be with me and I insist that she would be better off without me. If I had to write a song about my feelings I would come up with something like this song.
Its not about a bad relationship that she can't/won't leave. Depending on which version its two different stories. Feat BOB- its a play with the two groups on different sides, the rapper is telling her that this is who I am and although I love you I'm not going to change to fit what you want me to be. It doesn't matter to him he's still going to do his thing her there or not. In this the script follow the meaning they had in the single with no rap
Plain- Its the males few of this girl who no matter has stood by him. And no matter how much he's hurt her, and what he's put her though she's still there though he doesn't understand why.
