I've Never Seen a Witch Lyrics

You start to scream like we're making a scene
but I must remind you this is not a movie
No, you couldn't help but play the queen
you love them all at your feet

But I've come to believe it
I've come to believe it
it's like my mouth opened over the pavement
fake as you can, tell them all why you started this panic

You were a ghost from late October
I will be one come summer
I saw this world like a paper
and you could not ever stay here

Oh now I believe it
now I believe it
it's like my mouth opened over the pavement
and how could you think I, I wouldn't notice?

You speak quite a storm with that small mouth
and I barely sleep in my, in my own house
stare, stare at me and I, and I might transform

All hail the queen
still, I've never seen a witch this mean

You speak quite a storm with that small mouth
and I barely sleep in my, in my own house
oh fake as you can, tell them all why you started this panic

Lyrics from the official A Goodbye & Farewell tour poster (with all Assailant EP lyrics):

You start to scream like we're making a scene. I must remind you this is not a movie. You couldn't help but play the queen; you left them, all at your feet

But I've come to believe it, I've come to believe it. Just like my mouth open over the pavement But fake as you can, tell them all why you started this panic.

You were a ghost for late October. I will one come summer. I saw this world like a paper, and you could not ever stay here.

Oh now I believe it, now I believe it. It's like my mouth open over the pavement. How could you think I wouldn't know this?

You speak quite a storm with that small mouth. And I barely sleep in my own house. Stare at me and I might transform.

All hail the queen still - I've never seen a witch this mean.

I agree I think its, "I saw this world" Not "burn"

other than that I think its all right. Love this song, favorite off the album.

I don't think it is. I think it's a lot more literal than it may seem. As in the music video the girl he's about to propose to the girl that he loves only to find her with another man. He then says goodbye to himself as a "gentleman" and "relationship man" and turns into a typical "player" to escape the emotional drama he's been consumed with. Throughout the breakup she's tried to make it seem as if it's all his fault when all he did was love her.
