Yep, awesome song. I love the guitar riff and Myles' voice at the beginning, and how great they sound together. Very bluesy intro to the song. Slash is the man.
As far as a meaning, I think it's fairly straightforward: The dude's ready to go home. It sounds like he's had a helluva time in L.A., and now he's had enough of that lifestyle. He can't leave on his own, for many possible reasons. But he knows that his lifestyle's unhealthy, so he HAS to leave.
