loveeee the new song. The collaboration with Alan Palomo is different from their usual stuff, but works perfectly.

Am I the only one who heard this in the chorus though? "I watched my mind go down in the smoke and I can't look" maybe not...

Can't wait for the new album! its definitely going to be one of the best summer albums.

millyme! it may be that. it's really hard to tell though. i had to listen to it for ages before i got 'cannon'

another thing, where it says "i will shine in the sky as the sun with sunglasses / and i need to take a break" really bothers me. the tense switches from future to present. i think it could be "i'm a shrine in the sky." that would fix the tense thing.

but i'm not going to change anything yet.

I think the song is about getting high... "Gold skull" makes me thing of the Steely Dan song "Glamour Profession" with it's line, "Kids will pay a quarter just to shine the silver bowl."

Okay, I changed it to "and I can't look," but I don't know what to change the "I will shine" part to. It doesn't really sound like "strung" to me. But who knows.

I definitely think this song is about getting high. Just the whole overall chill factor to it makes me believe so. Amazing song though, it's one of my favorites by them.(:
