The Ballad Of Tommy Clayton & The Rawdawg Milliona Lyrics

We'll bring you to your knees,
You can not see something you can not please.

I met a girl with predictable ways.
Open doors, yeah she's here to stay.
Come clean, just open your mind.
Shut those legs girl it's closing time.

Oh faithful, I'm amazed to find you look that way.
Oh faithful, put away the pills come waste away with me.

You see these hospital walls are full from the bodies of all the dead.
It's spreading around the room just like, wants to be fed.

Bloody hands stop beating hearts.

We'll bring you to your knees, how can you be something you can not see?
We'll bring you to your knees, how can you see something you can not please?

Black, block out the sun, blot out your eyes, pray for the ones you love.
The sun, runs from the sky, beg for your life, pray for the ones you love.

Block out the sun, we'll block out your eyes, pray for daylight.
Your time has come, this is the get off, I can't give up now.

Oh faithful, I'm amazed to find you look that way.
Oh faithful, put away the pills come waste away with me.

It's all in your head.
If you see it, just close those blue eyes like you mean it.

I'm gonna take a stab an interpret this song:

I'd say it's about someone's partner who is dealing with drug addiction and sleeping around (or maybe even just a friend, that would make more sense). It heavily references drugs and sex in the girls life and the narrator asking the girl to come away with him, my guess would to be to get clean and get away from that lifestyle.

Good song. Constantly on my playlist!

i think this song is about a girl with depression and hes saying 'put away the pills come waste away with me' as in saying he'll make her happy and comfort that she wont need pills hell make her happy. and at the ending 'its all in your head. if you see it just close those blue eyes like you mean it.' as in the things 'haunting' her or making her depressed come alive or its just her against herself... i think hes telling her to 'close her eyes' like to go asleep bc when you're asleep you dont feel pain that much. thats what i think its about but i may be wrong

In my opinion, this song could be about a girl who sells her body for drug/pill money. "I met a girl with predictable ways..." that whole first stanza to me sounds like he's talking about a girl who has open doors/open legs and is "here to stay" in exchange for pills, money, love, etc. After talking to her though, he realizes that she still has hope and faith in the world. "Oh, faithful, I'm amazed to find you look that way", he's surprised that someone like her could still have faith. He wants her to stop selling herself and quit the pills to be with him instead, because he sees that she is faithful deep down. He pleads her to change her ways, and feels like he can't give up on her because now he sees the good in her.
