i think this song is about a girl with depression and hes saying 'put away the pills come waste away with me' as in saying he'll make her happy and comfort that she wont need pills hell make her happy. and at the ending 'its all in your head. if you see it just close those blue eyes like you mean it.' as in the things 'haunting' her or making her depressed come alive or its just her against herself... i think hes telling her to 'close her eyes' like to go asleep bc when you're asleep you dont feel pain that much.
