This song is about how hard relationships are. Some people have been hurt so much in love, it's what they know. So to me, it's kind of like he's saying ok, this is not going to be easy.. so prepare for the worst. But just know that I've been hurt too, and I love you, and "for what it's worth, I don't wanna' see you hurt anymore than you have to." It's sexy, and sweet...
Only three comments??? First off, I think it's supposed to be "Hide and go weep no more, unless you want to" as a play on "hide and go seek".
