Your speaking a different language to me
Your world is far away,
I can never live there
I'm looking into your eyes, trying to find, a common place to start
Don't fire that gun yet

I was turning the page before you could read
The signs were all around
But missin' them's easier...

I admit that I'm the stranger here
The story of our past, the one that never got started
Never got started...
So I'm traveling light
(Oh yeah...)
I'm traveling light
We never got started...
So I'm traveling light
(Traveling light)

Your speaking a different language to me
Your world is far away,
I can never live there
I'm looking into your eyes, trying to find, a common place to start
Don't fire that gun yet
We never got started (never got started)
So I'm traveling light
(Oh yeah...)
I'm traveling light, We never got started....
So I'm traveling light...
Never got started...
I'm traveling light

    My Interpretation

I think it is about a girl who is getting to know a guy:

"Your speaking a different language to me Your world is far away, I can never live there I'm looking into your eyes, trying to find, a common place to start Don't fire that gun yet"

She's saying "I don't see that we have anything in common, but I'm trying to find something, keep this conversation going and don't reject me"

"I was trurning the page before you could read The signs were all around But missin' them's easier... "

The first phrase doesn't make a lot of sense with my interpretation, but the 2nd and 3rd seems to talk about she having all the signs of attraction from the guy (or signs of lack of attraction), but sometimes we are not able to see them.

"I admit that I'm the stranger here The story of our past, the one that never got started Never got started... So I'm travelling light "

She's admitting they don't know each other yet, she's a stranger to him. So she's going through life, or her relationship with him lightheartedly, since they still don't share a relationship.

Hope you liked it, I hope you send feedback.

    My Interpretation

It's about a person (the singer) in a relationship (most generically speaking -- acquaintance, friendship) who has read too much in the actions of the other, thinking more is there -- feelings reciprocated. The other person has been kind, friendly, perhaps even a bit flirty. However, despite these actions, the other person doesn't have feelings for the singer.

Well, the singer takes the next step in sharing their feelings and is rebuffed or rejected. The singer is dejected and perplexed, not understanding a "No" answer.

You're speaking a different language to me Your world is far away, I can never live there I'm looking into your eyes, trying to find, a common place to start

The singer desires that the other person doesn't say "No" completely and give them a chance.

    Don't fire that gun yet

But, upon reflection, the singer realizes that other signs where there indicating that the other person did have feelings for them.

I was turning the page before you could read The signs were all around But missin' them's easier...

The singer continues contemplation, realizing that the past he/she imagined was never really there.

I admit that I'm the stranger here The story of our past, the one that never got started Never got started...

And, so now, moving forward, the singer is being careful with their emotions -- keeping them light rather than deep.

So I'm traveling light (Oh yeah...) I'm traveling light

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

“Head > Heels” is a track that aims to capture what it feels like to experience romance that exceeds expectations. Ed Sheeran dedicates his album outro to a lover who has blessed him with a unique experience that he seeks to describe through the song’s nuanced lyrics.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
