I stand surrounded by the walls that once confined me.
Knowing I'll be underneath them when they crumble, when they fall
With clarity my scars remind me
Ask yourself what's just under my skin
A different smile again
So much I hide
How is stepping back a move forward?
Now I'm forced to look behind I'm forced to look at you
You wear a thousand faces
Tell me, tell me which is you smoke and mirrors paint the floor
But still reflect the truth
You wear a thousand faces
Tell me, tell me which is you
Tell me which is you.
You need time make no change
Pointing fingers, laying blame.
Lying over and over and over and over
Deceiving your mind
Dug my grave, trashed my name
Yet here I stare so you won't fade away
A different smile again
So much I hide
How is stepping back a move forward?
Now I'm forced to look behind I'm forced to look at you
You wear a thousand faces
Tell me, tell me which is you smoke and mirrors paint the floor
But still reflect the truth
You wear a thousand faces
Tell me, tell me which is you
Tell me which is you
Don't be forced to look behind.
I bleed inside
Just let it out I bleed inside
I'm gonna let it out
Let it die!
Now I'm forced to look behind
I'm forced to look at you
You wear a thousand faces
Tell me, tell me which is you
Smoke and mirrors paint the floor but still reflect the truth
You wear a thousand faces
Tell me which is you a thousand faces
Tell me tell me
I stand surrounded by the walls that once confined me
Knowing I'll be underneath them
When they crumble when they fall.
Knowing I'll be underneath them when they crumble, when they fall
With clarity my scars remind me
Ask yourself what's just under my skin
A different smile again
So much I hide
How is stepping back a move forward?
Now I'm forced to look behind I'm forced to look at you
You wear a thousand faces
Tell me, tell me which is you smoke and mirrors paint the floor
But still reflect the truth
You wear a thousand faces
Tell me, tell me which is you
Tell me which is you.
You need time make no change
Pointing fingers, laying blame.
Lying over and over and over and over
Deceiving your mind
Dug my grave, trashed my name
Yet here I stare so you won't fade away
A different smile again
So much I hide
How is stepping back a move forward?
You wear a thousand faces
Tell me, tell me which is you smoke and mirrors paint the floor
But still reflect the truth
You wear a thousand faces
Tell me, tell me which is you
Tell me which is you
I bleed inside
Just let it out I bleed inside
I'm gonna let it out
Let it die!
I'm forced to look at you
You wear a thousand faces
Tell me, tell me which is you
Smoke and mirrors paint the floor but still reflect the truth
You wear a thousand faces
Tell me which is you a thousand faces
Tell me tell me
Knowing I'll be underneath them
When they crumble when they fall.

I love this song. Meaning is pretty simple. Mankind is destroying the world and we need to change.
Wrong Lyrics! I'll post the real ones when I find them!
yea definately wrong lyrics this is thousand faces...but fear is a great song!
The cradle of civilization sparks my fascination Truth ignites our generation to change what's been programmed Inside the mind
Don't you turn a blind eye Change what's been programmed inside Don't you turn a blind eye
CHORUS: Listen to me when I tell you Feel the passion in my breath Stay on top, if they let you Cuz the change is permanent
Change is permanent
Rudiments of interpersonal communication Truth will uproot and bring war's devastation to light
Don't you turn a blind Change what's been programmed inside Staying silent is a crime
CHORUS
Change starts in your mind Leave the past behind Forget everything you know Make a change, let go
Change starts in your mind Leave the past behind Forget everything you know Make a change, let go
Change starts in your mind Leave the past behind Forget everything you know Make a change, let go Let go, let go, let go, let go.
CHORUS x2
Leave the past behind Leave the past behind Make a change, let go Let go, let go, let go, let go, let go.
I think the song Fear (the real lyrics) is about standing up and witnessing about Christ even if you're afriad to do it. Scott is basically saying that when he tells you about God, you're gonna listen whether you like it or not. Then he goes on to say that once your saved you leave all your past behind and the 'change is permanent'. My favorite line is "staying silent is a crime".
