I can hear "I love fucking girls" too. But also in the beginning I can hear something that sounds a bit like "matthew stop" and it sounds like a really quiet scream almost. Its about 14 seconds after the "hahaaa" part.
Meanwhile, I absolutely love this song. I really think that this song is about fame, and how the press say "she's a mess" and how they really rip apart celebrities for their looks, private life, what they wear, etc., so all of the celebrities are "dancing in the dark" like Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland, Sylvia Plath, Princess Diana and JonBenet Ramsey. They pretend to feel great about themselves, or they pretend to feel terribly about themselves, but they are only their true selves when they are "dancing in the dark" where no one can see them. Dancing is also (to some people) very personal, so it's like they are living their personal life in the dark, away from all the other "dancers", who are also dancing in the dark. And when she says "baby does her dance in the dark" I can't help thinking of Dirty Dancing for some reason. It could also been seen as about a relationship but everyone else has pretty much wrote what other things I was thinking. I have so many interpretations of this song though, I really hope there is a music video too!

I agree with dirty dancing. I think structurally, this song is a throw back to the 80s to the backtrack, Dirty Dancing reference, and the name-dropping breakdown at the end in a fashion of Madonna's Vogue. I love it.
She says "Make It Stop" in the beginning. It is strange how you hear Matthew though, because she refers to Matthew Shepard quite often, and he sort of fits in with this song. Trying to hide what he really is, and in the end he was murdered for it. I love Lady GaGa. Her lyrics really have a bigger meaning, and the beats make it fun to dance to:)
She dated a guy named Matthew Williams, and she called him "dada" according to an article I read. So this song could be about him since she says "Matthew stop!" and the stuttering of "dadadada" used throughout the song. Perhaps he was an abusive bf? Who knows, besides GaGa. She is brilliant though.<br />
