Redone, Konvict
Gaga, oh, eh

I've had a little bit too much, much (oh, oh, oh)
All of the people start to rush (start to rush by)
A dizzy twister dance, can't find my drink or man
Where are my keys? I lost my phone, phone (oh, oh, oh)

What's goin' on on the floor?
I love this record, baby, but I can't see straight anymore (woo)
Keep it cool, what's the name of this club?
I can't remember but it's alright, a-alright

Just dance, gonna be okay, da da doo-doo-mmm
Just dance, spin that record, babe, da da doo-doo-mmm
Just dance, gonna be okay, d-d-d-dance
Dance, dance, just, j-j-just dance

Wish I could shut my playboy mouth (oh, oh, oh)
How'd I turn my shirt inside out? (Inside out, right)
Control your poison, babe, roses have thorns, they say
And we're all gettin' hosed tonight (oh, oh, oh)

What's goin' on on the floor?
I love this record, baby, but I can't see straight anymore
Keep it cool, what's the name of this club?
I can't remember but it's alright, a-alright (woo)

Just dance, gonna be okay, da da doo-doo-mmm
Just dance, spin that record, babe, da da doo-doo-mmm
Just dance, gonna be okay, d-d-d-dance
Dance, dance, just, j-j-just

When I come through on the dance floor checkin' out that catalog (hey)
Can't believe my eyes, so many women without a flaw (hey)
And I ain't gon' give it up, steady tryna pick it up like a call (hey)
I'ma hit it, I'ma beat it and flex and do it until tomorr', yeah

Shawty I can see that you got so much energy
The way you're twirlin' up them hips 'round and 'round
And now there's no reason at all why you can't leave here with me
In the meantime stay and let me watch you break it down

And dance, gonna be okay (oh) da da doo-doo-mmm
Just dance (ooh yeah), spin that record babe, da da doo-doo-mmm

Just dance (ooh yeah), gonna be okay, da da doo-doo-mmm
Just dance (ooh yeah), spin that record babe, da da doo-doo-mmm
Just dance (oh), gonna be okay, d-d-d-dance (gonna be okay)
Dance, dance (yeah)
Just, j-j-just dance (oh)

(Incredible)
(Amazing)
(Music)
Woo, let's go

Half psychotic, sick, hypnotic
Got my blueprint, it's symphonic
Half psychotic, sick, hypnotic
Got my blueprint electronic

Half psychotic, sick, hypnotic
Got my blueprint, it's symphonic
Half psychotic, sick, hypnotic
Got my blueprint electronic

Go
Use your muscle, carve it out, work it, hustle
I got it, just stay close enough to get it on
Don't slow
Drive it, clean it, lights out, bleed it, spend the lasto
I got it
In your pocko
I got it

Just dance, gonna be okay, da da doo-doo-mmm
Just dance, spin that record babe, da da doo-doo-mmm
Just dance (baby), gonna be okay, da da doo-doo-mmm
Just dance, spin that record babe, da da doo-doo-mmm (baby, yeah)
Just dance, gonna be okay, d-d-d-dance (spin that record, baby, yeah)
Dance, dance, just, j-j-just dance

This song seems to me that they have a troubled life and so they go to a dance club and drink to much to try and escape from the problems in their life ...they tell them selves " just dance,it'l be ok" refering to the problems in their life and that they can just have 1 night without their problems or stress in their life...

Where to begin? The logical start would be the first stanza, so let's take a look, shall we? I've had a little bit too much, much All of the people start to rush, start to rush by A dizzy twisted dance, can't find my drink, oh man Where are my keys? I lost my phone, phone Clearly the speaker is inebriated beyond belief. They've had a "bit too much, much", in their own words. Repeating the word "much" shows a clear lack of cerebral concentration, due to what can only be assumed as the consumption of way too "much" alcohol. The rest of the stanza just reinforces the above argument. Lady GaGa sets a terrible example for the preteens that probably find this music enjoyable. Moving forward! What's going on on the floor? I love this record baby but I can't see straight anymore Keep it cool, what's the name of this club? I can't remember but it's alright, a-alright Still unable to absorb their surroundings, the speaker can hear the music, but has lost all recollection of time and space. They say, "I can't remember but it's alright, a-alright". No, Lady GaGa, it's not alright. Clearly this person has lost numerous brain cells and is in a vulnerable position. Someone needs to get them off the dance floor. The chorus reveals everything: Just dance, gonna be okay, da da doo-doo-mmm Just dance, spin that record babe, da da doo-doo-mmm Just dance, gonna be okay, d-d-d-dance Dance, dance, just, j-j-just dance These few lines are almost sad to read. They show the speaker has a severe mental problem that needs addressing; they comfort themselves with dance, while ignoring real problems. They know they have problems, i.e drinking, and probably many others, but instead of seeking help, choose to "just dance". The dancing is a pseudo-security blanket, allowing the speaker to get lost, for a period of time, on the dance floor. If they continue to hide behind dancing, a very rough epiphany lies ahead. Next stanza: Wish I could shut my playboy mouth, oh oh oh-oh How'd I turn my shirt inside out? Inside outright Control your poison babe, roses have thorns they say And we're all getting hosed tonight, oh oh oh-oh Still sauced. The next couple stanzas show a change in speaker. When I come through on the dance floor checkin' out that catalog Can't believe my eyes, so many women without a flaw And I ain't gon' give it up, steady tryin' to pick it up like a car I'ma hit it, I'ma hit it and flex and do it until tomorr' yeah Shawty I can see that you got so much energy The way you're twirlin' up them hips 'round and 'round And now there's no reason at all why you can't leave here with me In the meantime stay and let me watch you break it down Some lecherous man has entered the club. He is "on the prowl", so to speak. Like a lioness in the wild he looks for the weak to hunt. Our poor speaker from before, still vulnerable from her inebriation, is his target. His grammar is also atrocious, which shows he is either uneducated, or just doesn't care. At this point the reader can only hope for the best. Our hope was in vain. Go! Use your muscle, carve it out, work it, hustle I got it, just stay close enough to get it Don't slow! Drive it, clean it, Lysol, bleed it Spend the last dough (I got it) In your pocko (I got it) Excuse me? T-M-I. Enough said. Plot summary: Lady GaGa clearly intended this song to be a tragedy. The story of a woman with problems she chooses to drown out with alcohol and dancing, taken advantage of in her wilted state by a an "opportunistic" scavenger. It is a shame that Lady GaGa introduces all these mature themes to the 11-15 year-olds that listen to this song. But if they don't learn from the mistakes of the speaker in Just Dance, who else could teach them? Perhaps it is best children learn these harsh life lessons from a song with synthesized music, instead of finding out the hard way. Throwing an arbitrary rating on this song, I give Just Dance, one thumb up, the other down.

    My Interpretation
Okay so my interpretation of this song is that there is basically some girl at a club getting really drunk and is losing everything she owns because she can't keep track of anything. Then there is some guy who likes hitting on girls (Colby O Donis) that is trying to hook up with her. But i have NO idea what the bridge means, I think it's her going crazy because shes drinking to much.

It is RedOne. and the break part is "Half psychotic sick hypnotic got my blueprint it's symphonic, half psychotic sick hypnotic got my blueprint electronic" X2 I just bought her album and it has all the lyrics in the little packet that comes with cd's. The song is about getting trashed at a club and dancing through despite everything, get lost in music. yuh know.
