To some extent I think it's about the dreams of old, the nostalgia of childhood, meeting the reality of now (spread the dime and doz' honey cause I need it). The nostalgia explains the weird imagery in this song: dancing to whales, midnight moons circling golden lakes, etc. It's that weird stuff of wonder that we think when we're so young.
He says it's "more than peace of mind," it's "divine," because he senses real meaning in all this...perhaps life SHOULDN'T be this complicated or difficult as it is when you're grown up. To some people, being an entrepreneur is heaven on earth; to others, they just wish they could be kids again. I think the author just wants to be a kid again.
