First off, these lyrics are completely wrong. According to the album insert:

She's walking around all over town Needs somebody to notice, but the goodness gets her down She's happy to choose somebody to use Good gone girl she's got nothing left to loose (x3)

I think this is about a nice girl who moves out to California in hopes of becoming a star, but she fails and turns into a gold digger type.

This probably isn't completely accurate, but this is how I view the song.

Starts out with a girl named Georgia. Lives in a presumably small town where everyone loves her; she's sweet, beautiful, and talented. People there have no doubt that she'll move to California and become famous. So she does. [This is where my interpretation becomes false; I don't know if April is supposed to be another person, but I like it this way, haha] She changes her name to April and, while she's in California, her success leads to her corruption. She's living a completely fake life and when she loses her fame, she has nothing left. She had been relying on her money and fame and now that that's gone, she'll settle for whatever [and whoever] she can get. All she wants is to be able to go back to when she was young, innocent, and had the hope of a great life ahead of her.

Has anyone else noticed that the girl's name in the beginning is April, and in the song Toy Boy, the main character of the song is left in Georgia? I don't know, i just thought that was interesting.

I think this song is about young girls, in general, doing "whatever it takes" to make it big in California, and inevitably falling for a lot of fake opportunities because of how young and pure they are. Georgia and April are probably the same girl (changed name was mention, I'd support that theory) and the whole song seems like an evolution from a good girl, to a spiteful girl, to a girl just trying to get by.

"Coming at you like a desperate hunter Sugar daddy, he's just a munter

Hey you, what's a good girl like you Doing in this crazy world"

I think this part says it best, implying that the girl thinks she can hook up with someone rich to get her by or get her into some famous profession, and the "hey girl..." part reminds me of a horrible pick-up line. But, all her hopeful hook-ups are sadly just people taking advantage of her.

That last part is the girl being beaten down by her failure and just looking for anyone or anything at this point, and probably the corruption of character she's facing since she's had to face the reality of people and the real world.

"She's happy to choose somebody to use" This may be her turning into the people that she encountered in her evolution of corruption, as she was used many times and brought down to their level.
