This song is about a girl who is pretty but has a bad attitude. and her guy realizes that he needs someone who he can actually get along with, not just someone to stare at.

The song depicts her at first glance as a girl with a common personality, but I think it's just about a girl who learns that to be in the spotlight, she'll have to make some sacrifices. She says things like "my boyfriend is ruining my life" to get attention, and she likes to dance alone even though it makes her boyfriend uncomfortable. I think the writer knows that Annabelle is a special girl, because he does say "I met a girl and she's more than just a pretty face, six drinks and she still remembers my name." Annabelle loves him, because he's not so easy for her to forget, but she doesn't realize that her fight for the spotlight leads to her stepping on toes, including those of the people who love her most.

I really love this song, and can't wait for their full length. The meaning is pretty obvious. He's 'dating' this girl, who is totally full of herself, like it's all about her. He's sick and tired of it, and he's thinking about dumping her. Their whole relationship is a failure and an act. When he meets someone who's actually worth it, he decides it's time to let Annabelle go.

i think that his current girlfriend is annoying and says things to her friends about her relationship that arent true, but then he goes out one night without her and he meets a girl and after 6 drinks she still remembers his name, so he think shes special. i could be wrong tho lol

I think he says "Well maybe you're pretty, but I'm pretty sure I'm over you" not Well baby you're pretty..." But maybe I'm just hearing it wrong. Anyways, great song! Love it, even though I really like the name Annabelle. It's really pretty, but I guess it fits the song better. Annabelle sounds so cool when he says that part, "I don't need a girl like Annabelle" I can just hear the eye roll! Love this song!

I love this song, because it totally explains how you should not just want to be with a girl because of her pretty face. If all you focus on is that she is gorgeous, you won't realize how much of a bitch she could be. Pretty faces distract people from what is really important. People like Dakota (from their other song)! The other girl actually has substance to herself even if she doesn't have a pretty face. Whats important is that you won't feel like shit around the other girl who still remembers your name as compared to the hot girl who could care less about you and talks shit about you to her friends.

Annabelle is a pretty girl who is so on-top of herself which results to her having bad attitude that only her friends who are like her can sympathize. He liked her very much but he just can't stand it anymore and he finally found someone better than Annabelle and he is saying "whatever, I'm so over you!"
