From the Heaven of My Heart Lyrics
I who have forged the heavens
I also have my king
To northland I was sent
I was cast to distant Pohjola
Enforced by my king's spells
His orders undenied
[Chorus]
From the small crumbs of earth
From a fleece of summer ewe
From a memory of a single seed
From the flair of a swan's feather
I let the milk come seeping from the heaven
The heaven of my heart
There my skills were known to them all
They all knew my name
All knew of my might
And I forged a godly device
A machine divine
The gates of plenty opened by me
[Chorus]
[Solo]
[Chorus]
From the flair of a swan's feather
I let the milk come seeping from the heaven
Heaven of my heart
I also have my king
To northland I was sent
I was cast to distant Pohjola
Enforced by my king's spells
His orders undenied
From the small crumbs of earth
From a fleece of summer ewe
From a memory of a single seed
From the flair of a swan's feather
I let the milk come seeping from the heaven
The heaven of my heart
They all knew my name
All knew of my might
And I forged a godly device
A machine divine
The gates of plenty opened by me
I let the milk come seeping from the heaven
Heaven of my heart

The Skyforger album is about Ilmarinen from Kalevala. This song focuses on Runo 10. In Runo 7, Väinämöinen is told that, to win the Maiden of Pohjola, he must forge the Sampo (a gold and silver mill that provides prosperity to the land in which it is held). Returning home, he asks Ilmarinen to forge the Sampo, since the latter is the master smith. Ilmarinen refuses to travel to Pohjola to do so, but Väinämöinen conveys him there through magic (the first verse). The chorus describes how the Sampo is forged, and verse 2 refers to what happens after.
