i think that this is about a person whose special someone is in a coma and he/she doesn't know exactly how to differentiate between a coma and a dream. it's sad but i like it.

I didn't put those lyrics up because I could not figure out what the hell he was saying for the life of me. I may try listening again, but if not, I'm sure that someone with a booklet will be able to now that it's out.

well it is about a coma, but to get the true meaning of this song and well the album in general, you really need to read Ishmael by Daniel Quinn. The album was inspired by the book.
The song's clearly about a loved one in a coma. Interestingly, I recall the album being dedicated "in loving memory" to someone, though I can't remember who...
