Like Akaneon pointed out, this song is about Dave Mustaine's interest in funny car racing. I would break it down, but the song is pretty self explanatory. And for those who don't know, drag races are on a quarter mile strip. 5,280 feet = 1 mile, divided by 4 = 1,320 feet (quarter mile).
