song means in my opinion, a man lost his love to a women who didn't really care at all, hes blinded by his own love for her and cant let go. He wants her to see what he sees.he wants to know how shes surviving without him because clearly hes still in pain he is curious if she has moved on,B/C obviously he cannot.
