Dozing Green (Before Construction version) (English) Lyrics
Once attracted to the green that grovels the ground, then deeply
Now, freedom sleeps at the end
From the colorful gentleness
Ah, meanings are collected
It just cannot be seen
Being washed away as they live as they are, the lost wind and green sky
Sinking in, the gentleness
Towards the direction where the hand rings, it scatters into darkness
Discovering it was the flower that scattered away in front of my eyes
Disappearing into nothingness becoming the deathly sound of winds
No one can touch it
The gentle, incisive voice
Ah, my chest tears apart
Simply flowing
Countless feelings scream
With a rosary
Sun bring up green
Being washed away as they live as they are, the lost wind and green sky
Sinking in, the gentleness
Making the broken heart dance
Overlapping the scars seen in dreams wherever
Red wind, vast sky
Good-bye
waving the small hand
Translation by 'Cammie'

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I wanted to know what they were saying for the longest time. Kinda crazy what a difference they have in the constructed version now isn't it?
Yes, but you can see how the chorus of the finished version emerged :D
Can't wait to have someone read a meaning from it! ^_^
I think that it's kind of obvious that the song is about the environment, but than again, is Kyo ever really -obvious-?
Maybe he had heard 'Glass Skin' in the making, and had realized that would be a better song to write about the environment? Because the themes in this version and that song are very similar.
Just a suggestion.
I wish I knew more about Dir en grey's composing process. After comparing this version to the finalized Dozing Green....I can't help but get more and more curious as to how they go about writing new songs.
