I'd like to think she's using lycanthropy as sexual desire, based on the way she puts it.
She's in a relationship with someone who appears to be holding her down; 'putting her in a closet'. But like wolves, they can't really be tamed, always wild, so she longs to be set free. This relationship she's in she wants to break out of and essentially find some 'fresh meat'.
Like a wolf, she associates hunting with looking for guys. The song simply states that she doesn't want to be 'domestic' but wild and free with no relationship.
Alright, so obviously I agree that the song is terrific and that the howling is great, but as for the actual 'deeper meaning' of the song, I'm almost positive that the song, and especially the video is about her dissatisfaction with her man and the pleasuring of herself that secretly goes on. Her so-called 'closet' is the place that she goes when she needs to feel true satisfaction, and the fact that in the video she is so cautious about her lover implies that she needs to seek satisfaction secretly without him.
The fact that she wrote the song in ten minutes shows that she was desperately in need of venting about her unfortunate situation.
Anyone who doesnt understand this song and/or doesn't have a genuine appreciation for it, has never experienced real sexual suppression.

Did you know that she was in a relationship where her husband/boyfriend/whatever wouldn't allow her to wear make-up or put products in her hair, even for concerts? He claimed she didn't have to be like everyone else and that she had natural beauty. I just thought this piece of information might affect the meaning of the song.

Perhaps its just about wanting to break away from a person who isn't satisfying enough and wanting to go out and be free to do what they please with other people, most likely to get caught later.

this song makes sense to anyone who's ever been in a boring loveless relationship. I was once in such a relationship for about 5 months before coming to my senses and while I never thought of cheating as this song suggests the subject does, I understand the feeling of being an animal trapped in a cage, simply being used for sex like one uses a coffee machine for beverages. She feels the need to escape and be with someone more passionate who appreciates her wild side.
I love this song both spanish and english (but english more). It's so catchy, i can't stop playing it. Hopefully it will be a big hit! can't wait for the full video.
So basically the beginning of this song she's singing about how her relationship isn't fufilling. She's being the perfect charming girl. The "lycanthropy" is an animal transformation, she's saying there is a whole other side of her that is lustful and not "domesticated"
The rest of the song just goes on from there about letting out that lust.
