It's not her fault that she's so irresistible
But all the damage she's caused isn't fixable
Every twenty seconds you repeat her name
But when it comes to me you don't care
If I'm alive or dead

So objection, I don't wanna be the exception
To get a bit of your attention
I love you for free and I'm not your mother
But you don't even bother

Objection, I'm tired of this triangle
Got dizzy dancing tango
I'm falling apart in your hands again
No way, I've got to get away

Next to her cheap silicone I look minimal
That's why in front of your eyes, I'm invisible
But you gotta know small things also count
You better put your feet on the ground
And see what it's about

So objection, I don't wanna be the exception
To get a bit of your attention
I love you for free and I'm not your mother
But you don't even bother

I'm tied to the angles of this triangle
Got dizzy dancing tango
I'm falling apart in your hands again
No way, no, no, no, no

I wish there was a chance for you and me
I wish you couldn't find a place to be
Away from here

This is pathetic and sardonic
It's sadistic and psychotic
Tango is not for three
Was never meant to be
But you can try it, rehearse it
Or train like a horse
But don't you count on me
Oh, don't you count on me, boy

Objection, I don't wanna the exception
To get a bit of your attention
I love you for free and I'm not your mother
But you don't even bother

Objection, I'm tired of this triangle
Got dizzy dancing tango
I'm falling apart in your hands again
No way, I've got to get away

Get away
Get away, eh, eh, eh
Get away
Ah-ha-ho, ah-ha-ho, aha
Ah-ha-ho, ah-ha-ho, aha
Uh-uh
I'm falling apart in your hands again
Get away
I'm falling apart in your hands again
Get away
Get away

these lyrics are easy to figure. it's all about cheating, hence the phrase 'two to tango'. and the line "Tango is not for three" in the song.

Actually, the lyrics are.... "I love you for free and I'm not your mother." instead of "Love is for free and I'm not your mother." :)

Actually, I wonder if you can edit these or "fix them up" 'cause there's a few mistakes here.

syd mel, we understand ur a shakira fan but ive read a few shakira lyrics now and ur always correcting people... r u so sad and pathetic u have no life but just sit and memorise shakira lyrics all day?! does it make u feel good about yourself if you are forever correcting some person who has taken time out to provide lyrics for people to read you c, ive listened to this song and the only mistakes that i could possibly think you've picked up on is the fact that ur just pissed coz someone posted all the shakira lyrics before you had chance to!!

Awesome song! The first time I ever heard it, I thought 'what the hell..?' cause it sounded like a cross between polka and surfer music (to me anyways..). Now I love it. My favorite part is when she goes into the 'This is pathetic and sardonic..' part. =)

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
