I can't take your hand
And lead you to the water
I can't make you feel
What you don't feel but you know you wanna
Find out how to crack me
Log in try to hack me

Underneath the surface
There so much you need to know
And you might feel like your drowning
And that's what I need to let go

Tell me what you've got to break down the walls
You just might need dynamite
Tell me what you've got to break down the walls
Kick senseless my defenses
Tell me what your gonna do
I need you to light the fuse
Tell me what you've got to break down the walls
You just might need dynamite

Got dynamite?

I can't paint this picture
Just so you can hang it

I can't wait
For you to understand
If you just don't get it

Find out how to crack me
Log in try to hack me
Underneath the surface
There is so much you need to know
And you might feel like your drowning
But that's what I need to let go

Tell me what you've got to break down the walls
You just might need dynamite
Tell me what you've got to break down the walls
Kick senseless my defenses
Tell me what your gonna do
I need you to light the fuse
Tell me what you've got to break down the walls
You just might need dynamite

When the walls come crashing down
I hope you're standing right in front of me
Where my past lies all around
Cause all you need to save me is to intervene
And make the walls come crashing down

Got dynamite!

Tell me what you've got to break down the walls
You just might need dynamite
Tell me what you've got to break down the walls
Kick senseless my defenses
Tell me what your gonna do
I need you to light the fuse
Tell me what you've got to break down the walls
You just might need dynamite

I got dynamite
I got dynamite

    Song Meaning

this song has nothing to do wth sex. its about how she likes this guy but shes too afraid to let down her walls shes built. With all the cutting and the not eating she did, probably emotionally blocked her self from feeling anymore pain and doesnt trust anybody. then there comes a guy who likes her and wants her to trust him. he wants in her heart

'But you know you wanna Find out how to crack me, Log in, try to hack me' is saying that if he loves her enough try to find how to break her walls.

Underneath the surface There's so much you need to know (There's so much you need to know) And you might feel like you're drowning But that's what I need to let go

is saying that underneath theres alot of damage. she wants to tell him but shes afraid itss too much for him.

Tell me what you got to break down the walls You just might need dynamite and Tell me what you got to break down the walls she wants to know what he is going to do to break her wall but its so thick that he needs dynamite to crack it.

When the walls come crashing down I hope you're standing right in front of me Where my past lies all around when the was finally break and the girl lets him in she hopes that he'll be there when her past opens up.

it has nothing to do with sex!

Just...woah. So hot. Please for the love of God, make this a single just for the fact that there'll be a video.

I don't even have an interpretation for it, I just need to yell about how hot it is.

it's about someone who's built up walls because of the past. she wants this new person to break the walls, but it could take dynamite bc they're so strong. once the walls come down she hopes he's still there. all she needs is for someone to actually intervene and do something.

I think she's asking of that someone to break the rules and let himself understand her feelings. as she says here: I can't wait for you to understand If you just don't get it

The beginning sounds like a stripper song, I just felt like I should put that out there. But nonetheless, it's an awesome song. It's fun to rock out and sing along to, me and my friend do it all the time.

But I remember hearing that the song was about someone that she liked and they liked her too, but their families didn't appreciate them going out and they didn't like each other so they couldn't stay together, and they fought because of their love for each other. I think I remember Demi saying this, but I'm not sure.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

No Surprises
Radiohead
Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
