It's Only Natural Lyrics
You what time it is?
Three, two, one
And I wish you would
Come over here
And show me something good
You got me thinking about
Thinking about how you look
Oh, hot damn
You must have wrote the book
Oh, that girl's so fine
She must have wrote the book
And every second is electric
Like a thousand volts
Not to mention
My intention's only natural
And your affection is the question
I've yet close
And I'm close
You keep giving me looks
When you come my way
The way you're shaking me up
It's like an earthquake
You keep giving me looks
That I can't escape
You make my pulse race
With the AOA
And you know I could
Oh, come over there
And give you something good
I bet you're thinking about
Thinking about how you're hooked
You know I wrote the book
Oh, with a touch like mine
I must have wrote the book
And every second is electric
Like a thousand volts
Not to mention
My intention's only natural
And your affection is the question
I've yet close
And I'm close
You keep giving me looks
When you come my way
The way you're shaking me up
It's like an earthquake
You keep giving me looks
That I can't escape
You make my pulse race
With the AOA
And every second I'm infected
And without a cure
And I'm positive you're someone
Who's worth fighting for
You just got that something more
Plus, I'm really sure
You keep giving me looks
When you come my way
The way you're shaking me up
It's like an earthquake
You keep giving me looks
That I can't escape
You make my pulse race
With the AOA (x2)

love this song.
What does AOA stand for?
AOA is somethinn like low blood presure or somethinn, right?
I think that AOA might be angle of attack, or angle of arrival, they're the only two acronyms that seem to make sense. but even then doesn't seem right
The best acronym I can find for AOA is Art of Attraction, a term given to the pick up community (by the members of the community). I'd like confirmation from the band, but I believe it is correct, as this song is definitely about the skill involved in the pick up and the pick up community is surely big in a city such as Las Vegas.
AoA means Art of Attraction. You were right Jayemel. Its a good song.
whats "the book"
I saw the Higher a couple weeks ago. They were absolutely amazing. <3.
At the end of the show at the merch tables, I asked Seth Trotter (lead vocalist and song writer of TH) what 'the book' represented.
He said (this is probably paraphrased now) "I'm really glad you ask me that. It's about back in the time of Shakspere, when he wrote Romeo and Juliet, there was a dating ettiquette book, that dictated everything from how girl kissed to how a guy was supposed to treat a girl. The book was it, that was the rule then. And that stemmed and just inspired the lyrics. Ya know?"
There you have it. I think that is too cool. :)
The lyric should read "808" not AOA. The 808 is a drum machine put out by Roland. When referring to "you make my pulse race with the 808" he's talking about that really low, extended bass note usually heard in rap songs. (The one you can hear from the car next to yours, at the red light, even though your windows are rolled up!) :)
Ohhh, okay! This makes so much more sense! Haha, thanks for clearing that up(:
