this is a very clever song, that focuses on a contrast between religion and politics. even the title suggests this. Sodom and Gomorrah were cities of old that were supposedly destroyed by god for their sins. Sodom and Gomorrah have been used as metaphors for vice and sexual deviation. The story has therefore given rise to words in several languages, including the English word, "sodomy", a term used today predominantly in law (derived from traditional Christian usage) to describe non-vaginal intercourse, as well as bestiality Now what anti flag have contrasted the politics of modern day american administration comparing washington on par with Sodom and Gommorah.

he above verse i very clever because it shows that religion is something that can be forced onto people. It suggests for not believing you can be punished. Politics can also fall into exactly the same mould as this.The band are making the point that its silly what the goverment has done over the past few years. This song is lots of fun to sing with. And Fallenimage basically said it all and I pretty much agree with him. But I just want to touch on the part where it says Allah, Jesus, and Muhammad preach pretty much the same thing, but it's a tragedy that they're kept apart. And I suppose it could be a strategy too, but I think it would be more of bigotry and just plain ol' ignorance.

awesome song firstly, really highlights how so much in our world and society that we think of as fixed and different really isn't at all, the bible is written by people who think alike, there are unhealthy gains to be made by bad individuals and groups by segregating communities while appearing to help. plus that washington dc is proclaimed as the centre of the free and liberal world where choice and individuals are prasied for their own beliefs, it is said sure but the truth is very different, plus americas liberalism and freedom has allowed conservatism in the complete opposite of freedom, but still presented as freedom. clever song, clever band, nice to hear good catchy, meaningful and helpful punk
