Raise the Sails Lyrics
(tell me)
what grounds your condition
worst of all, they're the same
make the cause then stop again
it grounds your condition
wait, wait, wait, wait.
we can wait and we can do
what is lost we never knew
have we heard the captain's call
never saw what we never knew
is it them or is it you
i wonder who is wrong
i see the sky on the crow's nest rising
eyes are wide and filled with trust
have we heard the captains call
opposite and she's divine
shivering cold, don't let me die
watching you keep watch of the sky
what grounds your condition
worst of all, they're the same
make the cause then stop again
it grounds your condition
wait, wait, wait, wait.
what is lost we never knew
have we heard the captain's call
never saw what we never knew
is it them or is it you
i wonder who is wrong
i see the sky on the crow's nest rising
eyes are wide and filled with trust
have we heard the captains call
opposite and she's divine
shivering cold, don't let me die
watching you keep watch of the sky

Wow, no comments yet? This is a fantastic song. The vibe is great, along with the vocals drenched in reverb and echo. I wish I could make out the lyrics; all I can distinguish is "Oooh, the ground so conditioned," "wait wait wait," and something about a "captain's call."
I think the "that is us in the avenues" should be "what is lost, we never knew," and then the "never saw a avenue" should be "never saw what we never knew." Also, "watching you, keep him on your side" sounds more like "watching you, watch the sky."
The rest I am amazed that you even figured out, props :)
I think you're VERY right on that! I don't know how I missed that, haha. And originally I had the end a bit different, but I must've changed it somewhere down the line.

Thank you very much for your input; you've helped make the lyrics more concise and gave it your own personal feel.
