This is one of my favorite songs. https://fnfgo.io
And there on the stairs,
standing there,
arm outstretched,
point and glare,
watching the love,
fall to our feet,
into the floor to disappear.
We're finding fault,
you kissed her
or you slept with him,
or you didn't care?
Now it all breaks,
disintegrates.
Well this is the last thing I'll take
because I can't face you now.
This is the end, there's nothing to keep.
This is the end of you and me.
As the ice comes down it's the end,
as the lies come out it's the end,
as the tears flow out it's the end.
it's the end of you and me,
So we'll look out on the lake
and we see the white light.
I said it was gold.
It should have been gold.
Then maybe all the crazy things you said
would have some meaning,
but this thing we have made it can't stop,
it won't stop? and I can't face you now.
Take your troubles solo, this is the end of you and me.

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.
Just A Little Lovin'

I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example:
"'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Midnight
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
“Midnight” is a song about finding a love that is so true that it provides a calming feeling through every storm. Ed Sheeran reflects on his good fortunes in landing someone with such peace and support and speaks of not fearing the dark days because he knows they’ll all end in the safety nets of her arms.
“Well, good morning there / What a way to start the day / With everything laid bare,” Ed Sheeran sings in the first verse, enthusiastic to be waking up beside his woman. He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
I think every song on two conversations is astounding. I enjoyed owl 1 and 2 but this TC has such an awesome sound that is immensely relaxing and addictive. One of the best indie bands yet.
yes it is....its off of their new cd "two conversations" out in july i believe
Yeah... I contributed this, it's from Two Conversations out on July 22nd on Tigerstyle records.
i love this song, i heard it live last april when i saw them with cursive.. it makes me kinda sad cause i miss the people that i saw them w/... well anyways appleseed cast is great.. the song is great.. i cant wait til the next show! adios!
I think I'm in love with this song, as I'm moving 18 hours away from the only place I have ever lived, and away from all the crappy people I have ever known, and now all the people who have never showed the least bit of compassion towards me are acting like they care... I'm digging this
about your stupid comment
its about two people whose relationship has turned sour because both of them were screwing around and blaming each other. "watching the love, fall to our feet, into the floor, and disappear" says that the love they had before is now dead. it finally comes to him saying that now that both of them are telling each other all theyve done wrong, its obvious that the relationship cannot continue. they both know its over and he feels he just cant see her anymore and theres no stopping the closing of the relationship
"there is no point in adding what you think the song means, it's pretty self explanatory...so you're pretty much just being redundant. it's just a great song."
... your ignorance astounds me. the kid's allowed to say whatever he wants as long as it relates to the song/lyrics/meaning. you claim he's being redundant, yet you felt the need to say 'it's just a great song'... oh... thanks. awesome analysis, really...
i enjoyed reading his comment more than your flame + 'it's just a great song.'

this song has very deep political ties, also.
