Haven't heard the whole ForNever album yet, but if it's anything like this and my turn it's going to be amazing! For the song meaning: Doug Robb stated in an interview that it was about our soldiers across seas, and if he had to be put in a position, in a foreign land, away from his wife, this is how it would feel. So its about our soldiers in Iraq, Afghan, and anywhere else they are. Good Job Hooba!
This song reminds me of my current situation with my girlfriend. We used to go to the same school and I had wanted to be with her for a very long time and right when we got together and was spending every hour of every day with each other the semester ended. Then she decided to move back home to go to school and now we are so far away from each other and I just want to be by her side but I love her so much and she is always here with me. That's what this song means to me my being so close by love, but so far by distance.
