Hunger
Inside me
That's always rising
To quench is to kill
Lusting
Your nothing but you know me
Stand against your will
To satisfy me
Bit by victim
Stealth is me

Sature me
Say all the right things
Just come with me
(Lets go for a ride)

[Chorus]
Trust me, don't leave me, don't be so deceiving, god help me
betray me, the blood lust and beating
Just wanna play
Just wanna play

A new game

The hunter is in me
The doe is searching
Dash for the kill
Abducted
Take away
Search for the patience
Of 1000 men
Peel my eyes
Lock on target
The covert man
(You never had a chance)
Don't be alarmed
Want some candy?
Just ride over here
(Now Get Inside)

[Chorus]

A new

I just wanna play
(Just wanna play)
I just wanna play a Game
A new game

[Repeat: x2]
You meant everything to me
(You know your time has come)
Another broken dawn today
(You know your time has come)

[Repeat: x5]
I just wanna play
(I just wanna play)
I just wanna play a Game
(Just want to play a game)
One that you've never played before
(Never Before)
One that you'll never play again
I'm sure

Chad uses this song as tool to describe his addiction to drugs and boose. How they call to him to just play a game, and it's no big deal becuase it's all just a game. The whole story about rapping little girls, kidnapping and stealing them is just the drugs taughing him " The hunger, inside me, is always rising" thats what i get form it all.

I've gone over this song a bunch of times in my head and can only come up with one logical meaning. Kidnapping little kids and Killing them in "a new game that they've never played before, one that they'll never play again I'm sure."

That is the only thing i can get out of it sooooo...anyone please comment on the part of the song that isn't that fucked up lol.

I was looking through the booklet with the cd, these are some corrections, but like some songs on this cd, the book isnt right, theres a few spots that sound like something different.

Hunger, inside me That’s always rising, to quench is to kill Lusting, enemy But you don't know me, snatched against your will To satisfy me, pick my victim Stealth is me (those poor little girls) So charming, say all the right things Just come with me (Let's go for a ride)

Trust me, believe me, don't be so deceiving God help me, and betray me(sounds like restrain in the song, but the booklet says betray me), from bloodlust and beatings

I just wanna play I just wanna play A new game

The hunter, within me That's always searching, thirst for the kill Abducted, take away Cursed with the patience, of a thousand men Peel my eyes, locked on target The covert men (You never had a chance) Don't be alarmed, want some candy Just ride over here (now get inside)

Trust me, believe me, don't be so deceiving God help me, betray me, from bloodlust and beatings

I just wanna play I just wanna play A new...

I just wanna play Just wanna play I just wanna play a game A new game

You meant everything to me But now your nightmare’s come Another broken doll to me But now your nightmare’s come You meant everything to me But now your nightmare’s come Another broken doll to me But now your nightmares come

(Come here... come here Want some candy? Lets take a ride Lets take a ride... Don’t leave)

I just wanna play I just wanna play a game One that you never played before One that you'll never play again I'm sure

I just wanna play I just wanna play a game One that you never played before One that you'll never play again I'm sure

I just wanna play I just wanna play a game One that you never played before One that you'll never play again I'm sure

I just wanna play I just wanna play a game One that you never played before One that you'll never play again I'm sure

I just wanna play I just wanna play a game One that you never played before One that you'll never play again I'm sure

    My Interpretation

I thought it meant something about false people who trick others to do what they want. And i think i was right.

"So charming, say all the right things Just come with me (Let's go for a ride)"

It also says that we all have lust within us. And we need to keep control of it, so we don't become like the sick pedophiles out there. We can all be corrupted, be strong !

"The hunter, within me That's always searching, thirst for the kill"

I think this song is bout hpow people arent really who they are... they are using a example of a molester of how one second its a friendly neibor the next second your kids gotten rapped or something... and how you cant trust anyone because everyone is a enemy when it comes to trust....

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
